Mon & Jo’s Workplaycation In Action

Last week I celebrated my 44th birthday in Palm Springs with my cannabis soul sister. Mon was posted up in the desert for work and I drove down to join her for a week that I deemed a "work-playcation."

When you're in the throes of entrepreneurship during strange times like these, it helps to be around someone else who's going through it, too. Mon and I make sure each other stays fed and hydrated. We pause and listen to each other's rants upon request. We take turns being a shoulder to cry on or a voice of reason. And we remind each other that we'll look back fondly on these days when we're out of the weeds and into the money. We know it's all part of the entrepreneurial journey. And that if it were easy everybody would do it. But when that “knowing” isn’t covering the bills, it’s nice to smoke a big phat bowl and let mama cannabis remind us that ganjapreneur life doesn't have to be a grind.
